Nancy was born and brought up in Ottawa. She attended Queen’s University and the University of Victoria receiving her B.A. and B.F.A. respectively. She has been painting full time since moving to Saturna Island in 1982, working mainly in oils. She was accepted in the 1990 CFUW juried show in Moncton, N.B. She has exhibited one-person shows in 1987, 1989 at Auld Kirk Gallery in Shawnigan Lake and is preparing for her third show in late August 1990. “When one is living and creating in an island environment, images take on personalities.
